To Rave the Racial

Delirar o Racial (To Rave the Racial) is a film that explores spatiality without the traditional constructs of space and time. Davi Pontes and Wallace Ferreira explore the idea that race transcends locality, challenging conventional understandings of difference, and dismantling the notion of space-time as the sole descriptors of reality.

-|-In Delirar o Racial (To Rave the Racial), inspired by the stream of thoughts of the Brazilian philosopher Denise Ferreira da Silva, Pontes & Ferreira crafted a film free from linear constraints, departing from onto-epistemological foundations. In this film they use choreographic techniques to explore uncertainty and disorder, aiming to foster an ethical framework for Black lives that transcends temporal boundaries.
