Various choreographers and dancers from the festival will be giving dance workshops on Saturday and Sunday mornings during the Moving Mornings from 11.00–12.30. These workshops cover a range of dance styles and are suitable for all levels from the age of 16.

Workshop by Armin Hokmi
During Julidans, Armin Hokmi will lead a 90-minute workshop for all levels (ages 16+), taking place in the studio of Internationaal Theater Amsterdam (ITA).
Armin Hokmi is an Iranian choreographer and performer, born in Bushehr and working between Berlin and Oslo. His work is characterized by hypnotic movement patterns in which repetition, rhythm, and collective energy take center stage. From seemingly simple movements, layered structures emerge, with bodies continuously responding to one another and collectively creating new forms.
-|-He draws inspiration from history, rituals, and intercultural encounters, resulting in performances that are both intense and sensorial. From 2024 to 2026, he is an associate artist at the renowned Montpellier Danse festival.
